Those wanting choices in workplace drug testing and a solution for applying the new NZ Oral fluid drug testing Standards, AS/NZS4760:2019, just released in March 2019 didn’t have long to wait for a solution to their needs. Inscience and Draeger have worked quickly to gain verification to the new Standards. The well trusted and well established Draeger DT5000, launched 2008 was independently verified by the NATA accredited and well respected Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine and found to be compliant with the new standard AS/NZS 4760:2019.

The many users of the Dräger DrugTest® 5000 for oral-fluid drug testing which includes the independent and nationwide service provider, Drugwise Testing Group can now have even more confidence in their equipment and drug testing systems. These new Australian/New Zealand Standard 4760 for oral fluid drug testing was released in March 2019, making the Dräger DrugTest®5000 the first product to have been verified. German engineered and produced, the product was found to be compliant as it was for the previous 2006 Oral fluids Australian Standards.
Since its market launch in 2008, the Dräger DrugTest® 5000 has become widely used the world over, including in Australia and New Zealand.
